About TaniFirene
Your trusted resource for pet care in the Czech Republic
Our Mission
TaniFirene was created to provide practical, honest pet care information for dog and cat owners living in the Czech Republic. We focus on advice that is relevant to the Czech context: local veterinary regulations, food brands available in Czech shops, breed suitability for Czech apartments and countryside, and seasonal care for the Bohemian climate.
General pet care advice is widely available online, but much of it comes from the UK, USA, or Australia and does not account for local differences. Czech owners face specific questions about vaccination requirements under Czech law, where to find reliable vets in Prague or smaller cities, and which food brands are actually available at Czech retailers. TaniFirene addresses these questions directly.

Our Approach
We believe that good pet care starts with accurate information. Our articles are based on established veterinary guidelines, including WSAVA (World Small Animal Veterinary Association) recommendations and EU pet food regulations. We link to authoritative sources so you can verify information independently.
We do not sell pet products or receive commission from any brands we mention. Our goal is to help you make informed decisions about your pet's health and wellbeing, not to push you towards specific purchases.
